B-Roll Films works with many people and adds positions as appropriate to job and budget but our core team is experienced in many areas of media production and handles most of our projects.
Ken Kinna /
Producer / Director / Editor / Photographer
Ken started B-Roll Films in 2002 to combine his work in photography, music and software into digital filmmaking. Ken studied Imaging Science at RIT, co-founded and sold a software company (QSI) and ran a TV station outside of Boston for four years (LynnCAMTV). B-Roll Films has has created short and feature-length films accepted to local and international film festivals. We have created many local TV shows including Art 617 which won a Telly Award. We also produced the SOWA IndieFest Film Festival in the South End of Boston. We now work on al types of film and video production and post.
Anthony Siarkiewicz /
Art Director / Graphics / Animation / Camera
Siarkiewicz joined the B-Roll team in 2006. He is involved with all aspects of production but his primarily focus is on motion graphics. Anthony has worked professionally in film and video production for the past 20 years including art, scenic and theatrical production for major companies from Twentieth Century Fox to Disney, Animation has always been his particular fascination, a field for visual experimentation for him. These days Anthony spends every available moment creating experimental visuals and short films. His collaboration with visual artist Simone Stoll has garnered much recognition including premieres of their art videos at the Biennale of Québec, Canada and the Film and Video Festival Athens, to name a few. Pete Jahn / Editor/
Sound Design
Pete is an Emerson graduate who has been working as an editor and sound designer and has been part of a number of documentary projects including our Ripple Effect. Pete also helps with shooting.
Paulo Teixeira /
Cameras
Paulo has a BA in Cinematography from the New England Institute of Art. If there is a camera out there Paulo probably knows its strengths and weaknesses. Paulo also works in web advertising and distribution.
